Cosmic Match (Reddy Matrimony) is a next-generation matchmaking app blending data-driven compatibility, Vedic astrology, and modern product design. The app helps members of the Indian and Reddy diaspora in the U.S. find meaningful matches by combining astrological insights (via Free Astrology API) with personalized user experiences and advanced matchmaking algorithms.

Role Overview

We’re seeking a Product Analyst & Test Analyst Intern to help design, analyze, and refine the Cosmic Match user experience. You’ll work closely with designers, developers, and data teams to test new features, analyze engagement, and ensure quality standards. This role bridges product research, UX design, and iOS testing, offering hands-on exposure to building and evaluating large-scale consumer apps.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with the product and design teams to define feature requirements, user journeys, and success metrics.
Conduct competitive analysis of leading matchmaking apps (e.g., Hinge, Bumble, Tinder) to identify strengths and differentiation opportunities.
Design and execute test plans across iOS and Android builds using tools like TestFlight and App Store Connect.
Validate astrology-based compatibility features using Free Astrology API integrations.
Collect, document, and analyze user behavior and feedback to refine match algorithms and UI/UX.
Research and synthesize insights on Indian and Reddy community dynamics, U.S. geography, and immigration-related matchmaking factors.
Create visual reports and usability summaries to communicate findings to product leads.

Qualifications

Current undergraduate or graduate student in Product Design, Communication Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related programs.
Strong analytical and visual communication skills.
Familiarity with iOS tools, including TestFlight, App Store Connect, and iOS Developer Portal workflows.
Experience using Figma, Postman, or JIRA for prototyping and testing (preferred).
Excellent written and verbal communication, with sensitivity to cultural and design context.
Interest in astrology, cultural matchmaking, or user behavior research.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of Vedic astrology concepts (e.g., kundali matching, planetary alignments).
Understanding of U.S.-based Indian communities, regional geography, and immigration-related preferences.
Comparative knowledge of popular dating/matrimony apps like Hinge, Bumble, Tinder, and Shaadi.com.
Ability to design or test iOS app flows and evaluate UI/UX accessibility and retention.
Knowledge of App Store review and distribution process for iOS applications.

Internship Details

Type: Paid Internship
Duration: 10–12 weeks (extendable based on performance)
Location: Hybrid or Remote (Will require to work or attend meetings in US based EST Time Zone and weekend)
